At 32 I found myself with everything - a great husband, a new child, several acres in the country with ducks and chickens, a wonderful job, but with a sense of not having anything, especially in terms of my character. I realised that the only people who had the sort of character I wanted were Christian women of several different denominations around me. After two years of searching, I realised that He was speaking to me and offering the character that I sought. That of His dearly beloved son, Jesus.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23
