Please pray for me and my friend Patrick. We have been friends for a couple years and on a couple occasions discussed being in a relationship together. However, in the past i felt that while we shared love for each other, and a beautiful friendship his relationship with God wasnt strong. I refuse to settle for a man that is unwilling to build a relationship on Godly principles and with God being the center. We live in different states now and yesterday he asked if we could get together and have a sit down conversation about possibly starting a relationship that would lead to marriage. Im honesty shocked because hes always been anti-marriage (His father cheated and physically abused his mother when he was young and then left her to raise two children alone). We are planning to sit and talk about where everything is going within the next week or so..im so happy at the thought of being with him, hes truly a great person. But, im also a little nervous as to how the conversation may end up, im wondering what type of questions i should ask him..what questions matter. We both take being in a relationship seriously so i just want to make sure im making the right decision. Hes Catholic and loves God but im also wondering if a Christian/Catholic relationship would work. Please pray for us. Thanks.
