ArielOh, he uses it against me constantly, that is the best possible way that he can get me and he knows it, but now I can usually realize whats happening and put an end to it. PRAISE GOD that we get to experience the snow in Canada! That we get to experience every kind of weather! What an awesome, majestic God we have. Is she far away? I think its so awesome when guys are protective over girls, makes me feel safe and loved. Maybe you can take this time by yourself to just really hang out with God? I need prayer and forgiveness from God. I lost my temper today, I did a security gig at one of the companies my job distributes to. A customer got in my face although I was being polite and doing my job. The customer continued to curse me out and get in my face. I let it slide and did everything I was supposed to. As I let them out the door, because the store was closed the customer then proceeded to tell me to get out of their face even though I wasnt in that persons face cursed at me and then proceeded to attempt to punch me in the face, I shoved the customer back before they could and I started to rear back to punch out of instinct but stopped myself. I could lose my job over this and such. Please pray that it will be taken care of and pray that my anger will cease to take over in these situations and please pray for that customer because that person was high on drugs and it was obvious. Please I need your prayers.
please pray that i will let go of this negative energy. I am so enraged at this second that my whole body is shaking, my jaw is clenched, im having a hard time staying in control. work has been more than worse these past few nights working 9pm-6am for 6 nights straight and tonight will be my 7th. I need the support of my brothers and sisters as much as I need your prayers. Courtney is fixing to face a horrible thing tomorrow. Her court date. They may take her straight to jail to complete her sentence. As most of you already know she has repented for this thing that has made jail even an option. She is one of the most Godly people I have ever met. A mistake can do a lot of things to you as you all know. But her consequences have resulted in minimum of what they could she will only be in jail for 5 days but I fear for her health among other things. Please pray that God protects her and keeps her safe. Shes too good-hearted for this....I cant let her know it but Im scared. I need to stay strong for her but I am falling apart. I feel bad for putting a new prayer everyday. But I fear this will be the worst. Please pray for Courtneys and my realtionship. Its beginning to fall apart. I need God to move for my friend Lisa. She is 50 years old and moving away from everything she knows, her family, her friends and her job. She shared with me something that no one else knows. She has been diagnosed with lung cancer and has less than 2 years to live. She is a faithful christian and has been one of the two people that made me come back to Christ. Gods light shows through her and I know in my heart her time is not up. She has many more amazing things to do and more people to touch. Please let her go where God needs her to be and for God to watch over her. I also would like you all to pray that God heals her cancer miraculously. Shes like a mother to me and I dont know what I would do without her. She is the mother I never had. I cried yesterday for hours at work when she left. I know a guy isnt supposed to cry but I couldnt help it. I never had a real mother and never felt a mothers love. And she gave that to me. I want.. no I need God to touch her and heal her. She cried when she left and begged me to stay in touch. I couldnt take it. It was like losing the people I have lost that I loved all over again. I also need prayer for my wife Courtney, that God heals her lungs. She is a chronic asthmatic and everyday I am scared that she will have an attack. Please I need God to move. My other friend Kayla whom is also my cousin, is moving into a new place by herself. Its not the best place for a young woman to move in by herself. Pray that God will watch over her. Thank you all for your prayers from my last post it meant the world to me. But I just have one more thing to ask please pray for my grandmother. To give her strength to deal with everything that has happened and that is to come. She is a stong woman and has delt with so much, but for as long as I can remember she has wished for death so she can be with our Heavenly Father. She battles with anxiety and depression and NEED God to move for her because I fear it will affect her health. God Bless YOU ALL!
I am new to this site but here it goes... I need God to move for my family, for my friends, and for me. My future wife has been going through a deep depression and I have been doing my best to help although sometimes I think I make it worse. I dont know what to do anymore we both need God to move also in financial ways. Pray that Courtney and I both get amazing jobs when she moves with me. My grandparents need God to move. My grandmother is a devout Christian and believes in him greatly but my grandfather although he believes in him has notfound salvation please pray that he finds God before it is too late. He has been diagnosed with two different cancers in 2 years they caught both in time thanks to our AMAZING Father but I fear what will be next. A few of my friends do not believe in God and refuse to be in church with "hypocrits". Although this statement is 85 true where I am from, pray they will find salvation and a true church that will help them along their path to him. I have been so lost lately, my job has gotten worse. I get treated like I am nothing and worked as if I am bionical. I need God to move because at the rate I am going I will be disabled before I am 21 which will happen in December. I have worked 3 jobs at a time before and have never been worked as hard as I have been here nor have I been treated so low. The only Christian friend I had at work left today, her and Courtney were my inspirations to devote myself back to God because things were happening at that time that were out of my control. Pray that God moves and makes me a better husband to my wife than I already am, a better friend to the ones who desperatly need someone, and that God will show through me. Original Prayer Request (posted 2 Years Ago): God help me. I got off work at 4 and apparently visiting hours ended at 3! :( She needed me and I wasnt there because of work :""(... I want to die. I need prayer. I feel like I have let her down again because of work... she prob thinks I dont love her or I forgot about her... Please pray for me, pray for my baby that she will be ok that she is safe.. I have alcohol in my possession.... not for a bad purpose it was for a celebration for when she returned we would share a glass of wine over the dinner i was going to cook her.... but now i just want to drink it all.... i have snapped im gone mentally ...im barely able to ask for prayer... please God help me :(
Courtney is back safe and sound in my arms. Thank you all for your prayers for her. She is greatly appreciative for those prayers and she managed to have a half way decent time except for the food and sleep. Although she is in pain :( ....Thank you all again for your support n prayers. She had some hardships in there but she is out and safe.
Original Prayer Request (posted 2 Years Ago): Yesterday, I took my wife to jail for a sentence she obtained from a mistake she made months ago. The loneliness is eating me alive. I am trying to give it all to God and I have in a way but the human part of me wants to just lay in bed and wither away. Please pray for her safety, she wont be gone long she has four more days. And every day after the next get slower and slower. It seems like a lifetime. I need God to move for us both. For her safety and for my sanity. Now I know how God must have felt when he decided to make man. Loneliness is so silent and cold. Its amazing to think there was even a time when God was lonely himself. He made man in His image, I guess I answered my own question just now when I started to ask how are we supposed to deal with it if He created man and we cant create anything.. But I felt something with me and as soon as I felt it I thought, we are supposed to lean on Him because He is always with us. It makes me feel some better but it is gonna take a lot of prayer and for God to move for this horrible feeling to pass. Thank you all for praying for me and PLEASE continue to pray for my Courtney
I'm pretty sure everyone on here will agree that we would not survive without God's love however, do you believe it is necessary or even important to be loved by other people? Can one enjoy life and serve God faithfully and fully without receiving love by other people?
I believe you can, but I think those people who aren't serving God need that love to be inspired to follow God they need to see God's love through us or else they won't want what we have and that's God. However, it states in the Bible that we need fellowship with fellow Christians, we need to go to God's house and worship Him and help each other out, praying for each other and that my friend is Love so, I take back what I said No you can not survive without the love of man when it comes from God.
I have been playing football for 3 years, I'm starting on my high school team on special teams and as a cornerback. My question to all of you guys is why am I like the only christian on my team? Where are all the christians in football? I've noticed it's not just my school, but it's every school and it's obvious besides Tim Tebow, there aren't really many big Christian men in the NFL. So..can someone explain why this is?
I didn't see anyone post Brett Farve he is a huge NFL christian and was shown on a commercial with several pictures of him praying before his games, on the year he retired and they celebrated his years of the NFL. There are many among the NFL just like him. I too was a football player, I played many sports and there were always at least 5 of us who prayed before a game together in every sport. Not many football players will step forward in worrying it will hurt their status and such but as long as you follow God you will be blessed and who knows you could inspire others to follow God.
You are walking down the street and see a man pointing a gun at another man as he is about to kill her. You have a gun. Do you A)end his life to save hers, or B)let him kill her?
Please post either A or B and then explain why (support w/ scripture if possible).
I wouldn't do either, I would some how intervene and offer my life for that person's life. I couldn't kill someone I know is lost for he/she would be eternally lost and I know where I am going. I wouldn't let that person kill the victim either because he/she could be lost. I would rather sacrifice myself to give another a second chance at life, so that they may see this sacrifice and be astounded as to why one stranger would do that for another. The victim if not already saved may turn to God because of that, or the offender. Either way it would be worth it.
You know you're Christian on a Monday when the one patient you have to work with in a period of over 15 minutes is attractive, and your wicked heart is knocking hole in one's of lust into the battlefield up in the ol' noggin. Guh, I need Christian best friends here -.-
Okay, so this question is sparked by the movie "End of the Spear."
If you were on a missions trip and you were violently attacked, would you defend yourself with deadly force? Could you knowingly end the life of a person who did not know Jesus?
Now, you may be jumping out of your skin at me even suggesting that, but - what if you were at the mall? Would it matter? Would you be able to defend yourself with deadly force if you were not on a missions trip?
What if it were not you, but your child/parent/spouse/sibling/friend in any of the above situations?

If it came to my family and my wife and myself, I hate to say it but I have a different view on this, letting someone kill you and your family or injure you would be just as bad as killing yourself,.... When it comes to my family,...I'm sorry but I would have to say I would kill.. I know its not "Christian" like but I have my reasons as to why I believe it is right to defend yourself and all that you love.
I believe that God doesn't want you to stand there and do nothing just because someone isn't saved... thats pretty much suicide knowing you will die and let it happen. Because if they are forcing this death upon themselves means their time is over and that they had their chances to turn to God and still refuse. I wouldn't necessarily kill that person, or I wouldn't mean to, I would just be defending myself and those whom I love.
Thats of course if they won't listen to reason first...I would try to talk them out of it of course but if they refused, I would have to defend
Baseball season is well on their way which means summer is almost here and also the NHL play offs! Nothing like the April/May season for sports. Top 3 teams in the west are by points is Vancouver,Detroit, San Jose and for the East Washington,Boston,Philadelphia should be a great run for the cup. Who is your team your rooting for the cup?

I'm sure that everyone, at one point or another, has had someone guess their age. What age do people think you are??
I've gotten, 12, 13, 26, 30, 47 (kindergarten kids have no concept of numbers...AT ALL!!) and then adults usually think I'm anywhere from 16-20...one even said 25! I love watching peoples mouths drop when I tell them I'm only 15 :)
