specifically for the girls that wear shorts or skirts that show skin above their knees: what do you think of these verses? Exodus 28:42? -- And you shall make for them linen trousers to cover their nakedness; they shall reach from the waist to the thighs. Isaiah 47:2-3 -- Take the millstones and grind meal. Remove your veil, Take off the skirt, Uncover the thigh, Pass through the rivers. Your nakedness shall be uncovered, Yes, your shame will be seen; I will take vengeance, And I will not arbitrate with a man.” just wondering what makes wearing shorts/skirts that show skin above the knee okay?
I have no problem with wearing shorts. Just because I am wearing shorts doesn't mean that I am doing anything bad like being promiscuous. If it is hot I am going to wear clothing that makes me comfortable.

so i'm trying to check out new churches here in new bern nc, my church in ohio is a non-denominational church, however, down here i haven't been able to find one... which denomination(s) would be closest to what it is i believe? also, i'm checking one out tommorrow. it's methodist? what do they believe compared to my non-denominational beliefs?
Methodist churches are very nice, I go to a free methodist church and I love it. I can't imagine going anywhere else. It is a very laid back atmosphere, it is just so accepting of everyone.

I believe that yes God knows where we are going to end up but we still have complete free will on Earth. It's not like when God made us he decided which ones will go to Heaven and which ones to Hell he just knows in advance the choices that we will make in life that will lead us to our eventual place after death.

ok so jenica recently put up something about the illuminati n then people were talking about what music is ok n someone said that metal is not good which i understand where your coming from but my question is... is screamo ok? like i listen to some christian scream bands so thats ok right?
What matters is what the band is saying and their actions on and off stage. If you like this type of music search the band my heart to fear on facebook, they are a group of amazing guys that go out and play their music and preach God's message with soooo much enthusiasm.

i was watching the 700 club and they were talking about speaking in tongues and its all very confusing to me and i was wondering if any of you no anything about it
The Bible says that you are only to speak in tongues if someone is with you that can understand and translate.
