Hi all- I`m Sarah. I`m in my early twenties and I`m a fairly recent graduate from Southeastern University where I graduated with a Psych major and a minor in Bible.

I am so thankful that a mighty and holy God would care for the likes of me in such a way as He does. He has saved me from more things I can possibly list. In turn, I want to serve Him in any capacity in which He chooses.

Joyful Noise Thank you for your post Sarah it was very encouraging. You poor thing having ulcers since you were 12! My dad has ulcers and my sister might be having that problem too and it sound very painful. Praying for you and thank you for your prayers it means a lot! I am one who has a lot of morbid thoughts and get caught up in my imagination. My husband is a coal miner and I have already in my head planned out his whole funeral. I just recently read a book that was very helpful in this area and its getting better. Ive memorized Philippians 4:8 and when ever my imagination gets going I stopped and say this verse and tell myself only to think of what is true and real. Your post was reinforcement of what I learned in that book :)

Joyful Noise Thank you for your post. You make very good points about those who have mental health sickness and I need to remember that God is just and fair so the topic of suicide is something I should probably try and not worry about. This is my habitual sin... worrying. Thank you for your kind words they helped me chipper up and get back into the Bible.

Gabriella hi, im quite good. it can be better and after the summer i go into psygical help, so i hope ill get better than.i have holidays now yes, last week started. i have holiday til the 3th of september:) im gonna work, having fun with friends, on holiday to a camping, being lifeguard at the beach.. enough to do;) i have 3 days nothing to do, i counted it really! so im busy this summer, unfortunately. but ah, your dog is soooo cute! and little:Di hope there will come new medicines soon, cause i pray and hope youll get much better. because i cannot bear the thinking that you have pain. i pray that God will heal you..thank you for your wallwriting, i really appreciate it!with love, Gabriella

KingsKid Oh, Jack Russells are so cute! But aren`t they kinda....bratty, too? :) My family has three dogs. Mine is a Rottweiler/Blue Heeler. his name is Logan. Troy Hey sarah seen in your bio that you said you have been sick where you cant drive, work or continue your education. That sounds like my girlfriend. Peter Sarah!!! What a blessing it is to hear from you. Throughout this week (dead week) there have been a number of things going on including capstone project presentation, a new apartment to move in to!!!!! It has been so awesome to observe how God can provide seeing as less than 24 hrs ago my roomie and I couldnt find a place to lease out of the places we went on Monday. I will continue to pray for you as you continue your recovery. We dont have the Animal Kingdom in Disneyland, and even though Disneyland is so close to where I live, I dont mind getting the opportunity to see a different Magical Kingdom for a few days:) There is so much to catch you up on when I get the chance this week to write you. I am still going to see what I can do about sending you pictures from around my campus and especially of the new apartment when we get the chance to start moving in on Friday. Please pray for me as I continue with the final week of my college career. It has been long awaited, but now that it is here I am excited to take the next step in my life after graduation. Finals shouldnt be super bad this next week, but they will be here and gone before I can blink. Feel free to take all the time you need to get back to me.

Peter Cool beans to hear you got my e-mail. I will continue to pray for strength on your behalf as you recover from this round of treatment. I learned this last week that I earned the Design Technology award for my school!!!! I will be receiving a certificate and my name will go on a plaque which will be hung in the School of Engineering main offices:) :) :) I will look forward to hearing from you when you get the time. As graduation draws one more weekend closer, Disney World will be the official destination for graduation celebration:) I will be starting work on May 17. O.0 Id love to brush up on my piano... or learn violin or those small upright basses...so itd be fun to take a music elective. I already can play the piano but I dont read music (though I understand how to, I just havent memorized it). I grew up learning it by ear and my mom taught me what she knew but there are some things Id like to practice. Of course I could do it on my own, but it would be fun to waste school time on it haha.. and I dont know how to play violin or the upright bass, but I think it would be fun to learn... those sound like such classical music instruments, but Id probably play another genre of music on it..although some classical pieces I like, but am more of an electronic/synth kinda person (owl city, or David Crowder has some kinda synth stuff in his music). I like other genres of course but anything happy and cheerful and fun sounding is my favorite :) I havent checked out the "fun" electives at my school before, I think I saw something about being a pilot though, might be wrong on that, cant remember now. Not sure Id want to do that though, I dont like planes very much lol Dance would be fun to take, watching all those old movies makes me want to tap dance haha ahhhh, like Donald OConnor, dont you just love him!!! lol but I think for dance Id either want to take something old fashioned or ball room dancing, or Id go ahead and learn popping haha.. am so diverse lol

alex hay , she is very up and down but does seem to be getting a bit better now , i do have a great church that i go to when i can but with work and family its hard sometimes , im also a singer in a worship band that preforms at a local chritsian youth event once a month and have my first solo on Saturday which im really exited about , it is hard in the uk but just have to keep trying to get though all the negitive and find the good people and make the best of a bad situation i figure God put me here for a reason so im trying to keep positive and just keep going , how are you , hope your getting better to have and will continue to pray for you GB x

KingsKid Well, I would like to become a vet...in a way...it just takes so long. I am just waiting on God`s leading for that idea. I plan to learn some new languages (I am working on German now), maybe get a job at a vet`s office or as an animal something! I might also take an at-home vet assistant course. Not totally sure yet, but I know that God will make things clear to me! Have you gotten any spring tulips yet?

It has been so rough these last few months and having my so called friends act the way they do to me, and then on top of it feeling that God has forgotten about me, has just been overwhelmingly depressing. Peter Bless your heart Sarah. I have never known a headache to be so persistent. Will definitely keep praying that it will subside so you can get back to your daily routine. I havent known someone to write multiple drafts of an e-mail either. Not saying thats a bad thing, but rather it is admiring. These last few weeks before finals week will be rough. Will have switch my energy reserves over to something more powerful than sleep, haha! I am also leaning towards going to DisneyWorld for graduation celebration with the fam, but it is not a set trip yet. Need to see what other places I would like to visit as well:) I have also, slowly, been getting into Country music as well. It seems to make the homework less depressing, hahaha! So far I have been listening to Brad Paisley. Its a work in progress:) Any good recommendations from you? On another note, I started a book last week called The Pursuit of Holiness. I have only gotten to read the first 20 pgs. or so due to school work getting in the way. It will definitely be a good book though. I hope your week treats you well:) Praying for you as always (*hug)

Peter Not a problem Sarah:) Been busy on this end with projects throughout the week. I will begin reading a book today called The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges. It was given to me by one of my mentors the other day:) Now for the wonderful news....My depression has been lifting even more so and it is due to the fact that I am realizing that I dont have to take the fall on things and continue beating myself up for things I have apologized for. Being a peace keeper and realizing this one little thing makes a huge difference. I am still waiting for more time though because I know I am not through the healing process yet. I hope and pray your day gets better and you get to feeling better.

O.0 YES. Ive found that to be my downside on distance college as well. No community. I also find the electives boring. You cant take fun electives it seems because all the silly electives require some kind of class setting or something. Ive never seen "Anna Karenina" beforeI dont think Ive ever heard about it either! Funny, I can remember Vivien Leighs face but I cant recall the movies shes been inshes been in a lot though, hasnt she? She seems so familiar. Or maybe I just saw her in something recently and thats why Im thinking that. Uhg, short term memory, I feel so old these days! Haha Well, off I go! Homework awaits. (Deadlines are approaching and I messed up my calendar! You know how calendars show the first week of the next month in a grayed out color on the current months page? Well I wasnt paying attention and thought it was part of the month I was in when I wrote out my schedule. I did it TWICE. Two weeks of fantasy days and I only just realized, a few weeks before deadlines!! Papers must be written!! ;P

Ariel Oh wow, you had blonde hair! Haha, that threw me off. I was talking to a friend who is becoming a social worker, and she said that is basically the first step to becoming a counselor. Funny thing is I used to HATE counselors with a passion! And now I want to be one! God is crazy :) Umm, its kind of both. I want to go there for school because then I will meet a bunch of new people, I can learn about their culture there during that time, and about their "rules" I guess. But I just feel a pull towards Ireland ever since a year ago, and I think its God, so Im not gonna fight it. Theres so much hurt in Ireland, I just wanna love on those people! Well, right now Im in gr 10 and turning 16 next month, so Ive got about 2 years before I can actually go, but in the fall Im getting a job so I can save up, because I know itll be super expensive. But yeah, Im not letting anyone stop me! :) God will supply.

Stephanie Thanks :) Oh no! Are you feeling better? I hope so! Well Im glad your hair is the way its supposed to be again :) Dont worry, it will grow and be nice and long again. Thanks for asking about my brother and his girlfriend. Umm, well, they did break up for like a day and then he talked her back. and like they just kinda pretended that the whole thing never happened. I havent heard him groveling to her over the phone at night recently, but I dont think anything is much better. If anything, I think they are hiding their quarrels from us better. Im pretty sure that their relationship is still unhealthy. Sometimes I feel helpless over the whole thing. I miss who my brother used to be - he used to love God and God was his main priority, its hard to see him put his girlfriend before God and its makes it that much worse when she treats him like dirt. I mean, hes not perfect either. he doesnt give her much reason to trust him because he lies all the time (nothing new, I mean even before she was around he seemed to have no problem telling a lie when it was convenient - even when we would catch it, he just denys it). At this point, I dont see any change really - they may start coming to church more, but not sure. Thanks so much for your prayers :) Sorry, I feel like I just vented on your wall - lol. Im trying not to be resentful , but I have a hard time not being angry at the whole thing, at both of them. Please pray for that too :) Thanks so much. alex hay , my mom had a triple heart bypass about 2 years ago and has been having back operations for about the last 5 or 6 years and has still got to have more. and yes i do live in England south west england in a tiny little town called Burnham on sea. i hope your getting better and i love your new profile picture btw one of my favorite flowers , god bless you :)

Courtney Haha, oh my I cant even see the Pocahontas thing in me what so ever!! I LOVE HER THOUGH! I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE JUST LIKE HER! lol. Wow.. I would have never thought that would happen in a place for kids just as well as adults.. Thats really sad... And REALLY not right. I would love to do a photo shoot for the 19th century. Or even be in a movie where they HAVE to give me corsets!! lol. But Alex agreed with the whole Pocahontas thing with you! I know I look somewhat indian, but I dont really think I look that much like them. I mean Ive known real indians all my life because I used to dance with a lot of them around their fires up in Farmington Missouri when they had festivals down there. It was so amazing, and one of my best memories when I was a little girl. They gave me their head dress. White and Red feathers with beads strung down, but they gave grandpa the Chief head dress!! It was awesome. I have a picture of my grandpa with it on!!! lol. Yeah the porn thing was not attractive and just made me gag. I just cant see how women can do that to themselves now.. I dont see how it gets them anywhere except for humiliation in their lives.. Its quite sad, but unfortunately, they choose their own paths. How tall are youu?? Oh! I thought I said something about your picture!! That is a FREAKIN AMAZING picture of you!! I WISH I HAD YOUR SMILE!! HOW do you possibly get your hair like that?! I was always the tomboy and always running around, climbing trees, (fell out of a high one then had to be wrapped up as a mummy because my little cousin decided to go after me so she was about to fall, made her grab onto something really quick to push her to safety and took the fall), hockey, tennis, SWIMMING PRO! (all day every day in the summer) Four wheeling, hiking, katy trail, runges nature center, NATURE PERIOD, fishing, camping, smores and hot dogs, animals,and etc. Of course, I was on my breathing machine every time I turned around due to this, but I didnt want to be stopped in the summer months because I was stopped from everything in school.. YOU CO ULD HAVE BEEN ARIEL?! I know the cinderella from disney land! i used to talk with her at my old job and she would tell me all about it and how evil they were. It was all work for them and they didnt get as much as they should and the people treated her like crap. Like the management and stuff. I cannot see myself as Pocahontas!! lol! You could have easily been belle or ariel! lol. You just have that beautiful famous face! Ah yes the corsets.. yeah I tried looking them up on the internet, but they just gave me trashy porn... Very unpleasant.. If you ever find one, LET ME KNOWW!! Haha, Im not a big Brad Pitt fan either... Always disliked him, but hes an okay actor. I just wish people wouldnt make a huge deal about him.. I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO THE PRETTY HOUSE WITH YOUUU! Just set the date, and well be off! haha!!

Peter Hey Sarah, just wanted to give you an update on this last week. This week has been better than the last couple in terms of everything going on:) I am so amazed at how Gods unfailing Love is and has been surrounding me during this time of healing. Something you wrote on my wall last week stuck in my mind and that was, "I know He will be wrapping His arms around His son and caring for him every minute of the day." So true, so true my friend! I forgot to tell you what I was majoring in?!? Doh! My major is in Design Technology, but I have nicknamed it my "Drafting on Steroids" degree because it requires me to take Physics (yuck). At the current moment in my semester I am doing about 20-30 hours of drafting every week (manual, CAD, Inventor, SolidWorks are what I use). I am also in the interview process for a company called U.S. Foam Technologies. They work with any and every coal mining disaster that goes on in the country . I had typed a lot more info for you in the original message I had written for you, but I can e-mail you later about it (I hit the button to write on your wall and it told me it failed, along with wiping out the message I had written:( ). I got called back by the company to have a second interview this Monday, which I am really excited about, so please pray that if this is where God wants me for the next chapter in my life, that things can get squared away quickly because graduation is 5 weeks away:):)I hope things went well for you this week. Peter Welllll............ (takes a deep breath because this will be a long one:) ) I started college 6 years ago as an electrical technology major at the junior college a mile away from my home in CA, and got to participate in that for the better part of a few years, then since I had already been accepted to LeTourneau, I transferred my credits there and began my pursuit in Engineering Technology with a Mechanical Concentration (Engineering), after learning through a year of trouble with classes that it wasnt all it was hyped up to be, I changed my maj. one last time to Design Technology (A.S.) (but I call it Drafting on steroids b/c it requires me to take Physics :( ),I am in the process of getting a job in Longview, and actually just got a callback from the company hearing that they want to see me again this Friday at 2:30 PM to tackle what I have called an "inoperable drawing." Basically they give me a problem and through hand drafting means (this time) I will have to devise a solution for the problem and draft it out by hand. It will definitely be an experience to behold since I have only heard of things like this in class, but I am excited to get to do it:)) If you cant tell, I love to use my hands and the gifts God has given me to express through drafting and design. Thank you for your encouraging words as they come at a time when there is high stress during the week due to a test I have to take tomorrow for a class called Modern Manufacturing Methods. I am in the process of studying for it now, but definitely wanted to take time out and thank God for your continued prayers as well as His continued blessing to be showered on you as well as the others who have been praying as well. I am definitely "inflated" when I am able to read the encouragements and prayers of you and others that it seriously creates a void in the despairing situation here for a while, which is definitely a great feeling:) I am so very thankful God has brought you into my life my friend. One who is faithful and willing to pray for those who are in time of need. Before I go on too much longer, I need to get back to my test prepping, but in response to spring break and college, I too am sad that spring break cant include more "off" time to enjoy with family while away from school. I am looking forward to 6 weeks from now because I will be walking across the stage and receiving my diploma!!!!:)))))) Have a wonderful night my sister in Christ!!!

SheepAmongWolves LOL! Yeah, alot more people dont know how to run properly than you may think. I actually had been running incorrectly all the way up until about 3 or 4 years ago and Ive played sports all my life. In parkour, they have us to alot of training barefoot, because you can REALLY feel it when youre not running properly and youre basically forced to correct it. Well short females are much are "acceptable" than short males lol. Im only 57 but my height doesnt limit me in any way so I wont complain. Blue and lime green is certainly an interesting combination of colors. Haha...its ok. It was more funny than anything. When I designed the "boss" of that stage, I used an A.I. algorithm (a very basic one) so its movements and actions were based on mine and I gave him waaay too much health lol. Game design can certainly get VERY confusing so dont feel bad. Im sure your field is still far more complex than mine though. Oh ok, thats actually sort of what I suspected. I hope you dont mind (I doubt you do since youre like the nicest person ever :0) ) but I told Ariel she should talk to you regarding becoming a counselor b/c you could probably give her some solid information. That is kind of strange. Would other Doctors look at that and possibly turn you down if you tried to go to them?

I have done a lot of good work with food and homeopathic remedies for my children. Are you off of all grains?? Food and health for others is a passion of mine. I am still struggle with my issue.... it was gone and now it has came back when I took back my husband.... it was my fast but I failed and Jesus knows how hard I am trying to fight it again... I am getting better. For me it is all about control and perfection... God has worked on me in so many ways and I know that He is still working. As for my husband... he still has anger and we still have alot of differences and I am not certain about the future and I pray that I would allow God to guide me to make the right decision. It is very hard.. I stay the children have their dad, I do not stay with him the children will not have a dad but there will be a lot less negative in their live... what to do as I wait for His answer. Peter Thanks Sarah. Also just wanted to let you know that I made it safely back to TX. Gearing up for a 6 chapter test in manufacturing Processes on Thursday which covers strict theory of topics. Minor blessing is that I had a better week last week. You replied to the comment that I had put on my own wall because I had no clue what I was doing :P Yes, there arent many that I know of, but the school I train at has affiliate schools in Texas and Virginia. We start off indoors learning how to run properly, the basic vaults, and train balance and precision on obstacles they built for training purposes. Later, theyll take classes out to a nearby park to work on what theyve been learning in a natural environment. Its really fun. That video is hilarious. Im sure you wouldnt be that bad. Even if you were, I could show you a few things. Haha, yeah, unfortunately Im still kind of short though lol. Actually, that picture is me getting a medal at the east coast submission fighting championships. It was a tournament in New Jersey. The funny thing is I fought the guy on the left first and he almost broke my arm. He hyperextended it pretty badly but I was still able to win the rest of my matches and take home 3rd place so Im really proud of that.
