c m no one has taken a person's "side", this all needs to be put to rest. it was clear that what blake said was wrong. not a single person agreed with the way he went about it, and he apologized for it, so no... emilio didn't take my side on a debate, and there was no debate to begin with. blake just got heated about something, and i responded. and people saw it. that's all.

Emilio Meza I hear ya, but first off I wasn't "criticizing" anybody's designs including yours. Don't get criticizing and critiquing mixed up man. Criticism would sound like this: "Hey Brett. This design is lame. I hate the text you used and the unknown blobs of who knows what inside the "o"s. I have absolutely no suggestions on how to fix it. Oh and btw, that phrase makes no sense." I'm pretty sure my honest comment which I posted on your design can be considered a critique. I gave you both my opinion and suggestions to make it look better. The problem here is not me. Somebody here has got to learn how to humbly receive critique. Corey's side? Na man. You've got it all wrong. Blessings.

serloren If by some weirdness you don't win - hang on to the design until your "year" is up with Canvas for it, and then look at printing yourself. It would be a fairly easy print, and that would keep costs down. Also, if you get X-number of folks to commit to buying it beforehand, you can get an idea on how many to print which will also save costs (you can always reprint if you need more). God bless. :-)

c m tip: don't submit too much stuff all at once because they'll be going against eachother, and overall they'll have less chance of winning. just saw you say that you had a bunch you wanted to submit so I thought I'd throw that in. keep them spread out enough.

c m lastly, hopefully you understand that my mockup comment was not intended to be mean, or rude, but was a very simple suggestion from one designer to another. it seems like you know photoshop, so hopefully you could take that comment as a simple suggestion. nice mockups make nice tees look nicer. that's all i meant. wasn't meant to bash you, despite how concerned i was about the cheating.

c m yeah, i did contact them because they can investigate where the votes come from to see if they are real or not. and glad you understand. this is my only concern.... put yourself in the shoes of the people that run canvas. they just got over 100 new accounts signed up. exciting. what would not be exciting, is to find out all your friends just joined to get you $400, then leave. i hope this is not the case.

c m this is all i'm going to say: i already posted an apology for jumping to conclusions. so that's not what this is about. first, my only concern is that what just happened hurt the community by having 100 people sign up, only to vote for you then leave. that's not a community. that's rude, and unfair to the rest of the community. also, all it takes is 2 flags to remove a comment, so yeah i could remove any comment by flagging it twice, so not sure what that was about. bottom line: i hope all your tumblr buddies understand that this is a community of designers and those who just enjoy it, and i hope they stay and continue to vote for others too. that's all.
