What are you guys majoring in? If you're not in college yet, what would you like to study once you get to college?
I am majoring in elementary education, minor in business administration. I would like to one day open a christian school, which is why I am doing the education/business mix. :)
I'm a sophomore in high school right now, but I plan on majoring in Film Production, as I don't need a specific degree to get into grad school. Or so I've been told.
For those of you that havent seen my previous forum, regarding this topic, let me catch you up. I came up with the idea to have the faithful members of c28 and (most importantly) GOD, have a mission trip to do together, as one body!! :)This idea is in the works, and we would like c28 to be involved as well, a fellow c28 member, Cody, and I are working together to make this idea possible for a month in the Summer of 2011, currently, we have discussed the possibilities of remaining nation-wide, for the simple fact that we want to use the money that were using for the mission trip (that we, ourselves have to fundraise) in the absolute smartest way possible. So, please, if you would like to be apart of this (hopefully) soon to be new c28 tradition, please reply to this forum, with the state you currently reside in, as well as work projects that you are interested in. This is a GROUP thing, I just want to try my best to work with everyones preferences, so please, COMMENT! Thanks everyone!! :)
How many of you read this amazing book? Did any of you read the second book by the Harris brothers: Start Here? These books are so inspiring and encouraging. If you have read either of the books let me know how it influenced you and what you learned from them.
A question some christains dont want to hear is "Why does God let good people suffer if he is such a loving God?" Well like Vance Harner once said "Sometimes your medicine bottle says 'Shake well before using' well that is what God has to do to some of his people he has to shake them before they are ever usable." Also suffering is like working out. When you work out your muscle breaks down then grow again only stronger. So when the suffering breaks us down and we trust God and get back up we come out on top stronger than before. Tell me what you think.
This is not our world. Like lots of C28's tshirts say, we really aren't of this world- and our blessings aren't blessings of earth. This is the devil's world, and his goal is turning people from God, whether that be through difficult times or easy times when it's easy to forget God.
