I was saved at the age of 5. My dad is a pastor for a church in CT. I go to Liberty University to study Athletic Training. I love my God because He forgives and because He saved me and because He offers me an alternative to a worldly lifestyle that will eventually end in destruction. I play guitar and I am in a worship band right now and I play every sunday at church. I love to use my God-given talents to worship my God. I also play soccer, and coach it. I get paid to coach, not play. I wish it was the other way around, but it''''s a great pastime that keeps me in shape. I like apple products, like ipods, macs, and other shtuff like that. hm. if you have any questions, just ask!

StephanieHey Jay, whats up? Yeah, I struggle with the music thing still. I commute to my school (which is an hour drive each way) and sometimes I just got bored of the Christian music station because the songs were all the same and I started to hear them over and over (not that I dont like Christian music, but I just wanted something new). So I started tuning into some of the secular music stations. I had listened to them before, but never like this. I started craving the secular music only, and I would listen all the way to school and all the way home. After a while I just started feeling the Holy Spirit convicting me. I started questioning it. It started to feel empty. I mean yeah, I could dance to it and I liked the beats and stuff, but it just felt wrong, ya know? Anywho, so I decided to cut it out totally, at least until I wasnt craving it anymore. I bought some Christian CDs so that I had plenty of variety in my car, lol. I still listen sometimes, as well, but like you said, I dont feel addicted anymore. But I know i probably shouldnt listen at all, if you listen to the words, they are so aweful. I felt like God was telling me that I couldnt possibly grow in Christ if I was feeding myself with the world. I still feel convicted a little when I put secular music on because, at least in part, it brings me back to that feeling of being addicted; although its definitely not as bad as before. So what university do you attend? I currently attend Rutgers University in NJ. I graduate this Spring (yay, so excited!!). My BA will be in Criminal Justice. What year are you in, and what is your major?

VanessaI hear a lot about the English Premier League but dont really know the teams/players/stats all that well. Favourite team? This afternoon I went to the Vancouver Whitecaps league opener against Toronto FC.....AWESOME game, the atmosphere in the stadium was great. Van won 4-2 so it was an amazing day (except for getting beer dumped on me. lol)!!
Hey guys. I just would request some prayer ahead of time for a job this summer. I am a college kid, and things are tight right now, like they are for so many people, and I would really like to get a lot of work in this summer to help pay for books and other essentials. Thanks
c28 should open up a store in Lynchburg, Virginia. Liberty University is the world's largest evangelical christian college and I know that the store would get great response and would do really well in the area. any other LU students agree with me?

If you have time during your day, I would encourage anyone who is interested in the topic to listen/watch this.
It is not "Christian propaganda" which I'm sure is what many of you are thinking.
He simply tells the facts that many of us don't hear about anymore.
Please post any contradictions or errors you find in what he says... if you can find any.
America was founded on moral principles. Some of our founders were Christians, but definitely not all of them, like some people like to say. However, our country was indeed founded on christian principles, not necessarily by Christians.
I've come across one website talking down about Amy Grant while another poked at DC Talk.
They say that, in general, that Christian rock is too worldly among other things.
What do you say?
A great rule to follow is don't do anything that will tempt you sexually. Make standards BEFORE you start dating and BEFORE you go out. Remember, if both of you are saved, then she is your sister in christ. Treat her like you would want your sister to be treated. Some people say "don't do anything you wouldn't do in front of her dad..or yours." That is true, but kinda corny and overused. In all reality, again if you both are saved, both of your fathers are there.-God. He is always watching, no matter if you guys are in an empty room or a crowded mall. He is your Father and He sees everything you do. If you are a guy, which I am assuming you are, ask a more mature christian man about this and what he would do. Also I would recommend reading the book "Hero-becoming the man she desires" by Fred Stoeker. This is an incredible book that is modern and gives great insight to Christian dating. grace and peace bro
So i graduate in 5 months and Im having a hard deciding where to go to College. So if you guys know of a good college or Colleges i could use some ideas where to go. Thanx
Well, my advice would be to pray a lot and to try many colleges out. Visit them, call them, stay over for a weekend. Get out there and try them out. If you are looking for Christian colleges, I would recommend Liberty University. I go there and it is an incredible Christian atmosphere. It is evangelically based, which is very important. Go to Libertyu.com for some more information that is very helpful. hope all goes well with this. grace and peace
The C28 Mystery Tee! $7.77 gets you a mysterious tee-shirt. You provide the size, they provide the tee.
I haven't done this yet, but I wanted to make sure you all knew about it! :) and if you do buy one, use this topic to say what shirt you got! Next time I order from C28, I'm def going to do this, lol.
Heres my opinion. As a guy, they make me lust, quite honestly. God says much about modesty various places in the Bible, and I don't think that they are modest. Even if they are not see-through, they are too clingy to the butt and legs and make guys' minds go to the wrong places. I like them, but for the wrong reasons. 1 Timothy 2:9-10. Grace and peace
Ok we all know what the Bible says on same-gender marriages, but it's kind of hard to fight this topic in today's world because it's a "Free world" you know?
I mean sure it's a freedom but as a Christian, it's wrong. So when I hear about anti-gay places I sort of cheer because of people standing up for what they think is right, but at the same time all the world is complaining because it's anti-freedom.
And I do not support people bulling and name-calling gay people either. I hate it in fact. I hear people (read it online actually) making fun of gay people. wrong. we're supossed to love them.
just saying going to bed now night :p
agreed. We as Christians should love everyone because Christ as our greatest example did. However, homosexuality is clearly a sin outlined in God's word. When people accuse Christians as being hateful and closed minded about homosexuality, we should make it clear to them that we don't hate homosexuals. We really do love them, we just disagree with what they are doing. They need Christ just as much as the humanly "good" people who are unsaved do. We should treat them with care and show them from the Bible that they are doing wrong and what to do to fix it. Bottom line is that we should be accepting of homosexuals, but not of their actions or lifestyle. God bless.
I do not agree with any of these shirts c28 is advertising or thinking about making, the new political shirts,I think it sends out a message that voting is not important when it really is especially in this time period when they are trying to remove God from government etc...I am dissapointed in c28 for this.
I don't know if they are putting down the idea of voting so much as they are trying to say neither democrats nor republicans are the only right parties. It's kinda like church denominations. It doesn't matter the name of the party, it's their beliefs and what they will do. They are saying that no matter what party people are, they are living in a nation that was based on christian principles and they should appreciate it.
I am really, really struggling right now. I am facing a lot of temptation, and I can see myself slipping further and further from God. I see it happening, but I don't know how to stop it. I know that I am already disobeying my mom, and if I continue in this, I will be completely disobeying my parents AND God. The likelihood of going through this and getting back out pure and whole is very, very slim.
Part of me wants to flee from the temptation, but the other part is drawn to it. The persistence of the other party doesn't help...
hey bro. This is a serious problem that many people face. I know I have. Just keep in the forefront that Christ's grace is enough for us. Jesus has everything we need to be truly content in this life. All the immediate pleasure this world offers us will be gone within hours and will only leave us more empty. My advice is that, if this problem involves another person, you should completely stay away from any situation that could possibly be tempting. Like Joseph and Potiphar's wife, Joseph ran away. He didn't just say that he wouldnt, but then stay there, he completely ran away from temptation. Pray lot's and stay in devotion to God and read His word. Pray like no one's business when tempting situations come. grace and peace bro
