My name is Peter. I am a pretty laid back guy who loves to laugh and have fun in life. I love learning new things each day, and am very thankful the Lord allowed me to live after my fight with Meningitis when I was only a few months old, and I definitely thank Him for each day He has given me. I love to make new friends, and am always a sucker for a good joke. I love to stay active, but I also keep my active life balanced with watching movies with friends and video gaming as well. Feel free to ask me anything if you want to because I am always up for meeting new people as well.

Sarah32 Thats an amazing accomplishment, Peter, especially considering your school specializes in engineering. CONGRATULATIONS! :D And again, why in the world would you want to come to Disney World when you have Disneyland (the ORIGINAL) practically next door to you? One question though- do you guys have Animal Kingdom in Cali? If not, then you are kinda missing out.;) I hope you had an awesome Resurrection Day too, Peter.:) It may take me a little while to get back to you- my bodys been in a little slump the past few days, but Ill get to you as soon as I can!

Sarah32 Yeah, migraines can be pretty bad...They can last for WEEKS! Thanks for the prayers, theyre much appreciated, Peter. :) And I didnt write multiple drafts; I dont know anyone like that either lolol!! No, this is still the same one I started over a week ago. My illness just kicked in and a headache followed. My heads doing a little better now, so Ill be finishing it soon- and everyone says--- "FINALLY!" LOL Oooo yes, finals can be a doozy. But they will probably be a little easier for you than some years since your course load is lighter- theres the bright side. :) WHAT?! Why would you be going to Disney World when you practically have Disneyland in your backyard?! Youre silly.;p As far as country music is concerned- Brad Paisley is a good, manly choice. "Im Still a Guy" is a pretty funny song from him, and on the sweeter side- he has "When I get Where Im going." I tend to look more at individual songs than the artist themselves, but I will say- Rascal Flatts is pretty good. So I guess the time in Texas finally persuaded you to turn to music with men and women donned in cowboy boots? LOL Ive heard the Pursuit of Holiness is pretty good.I havent read it yet, but it is on my list of "to read"....along with a long list of other books lol. Youll have to tell me how it is! Still praying for you buddy, for a continued healing for your situation and your subsequent heartbreak.<3<3

Sarah32 Thats so sad!!! I hate when those kind of things happen. :( I would tell you to switch to gmail (it autosaves every minute--truly a heaven sent!) but then you wouldnt have your awesome stationary. Courtney PETER PETER PETER!! Man.. I thought I wrote you back.. Actually I REMEMBER writing you back but for some reason I dont think it posted on here.. That makes me irritated! Dont ever think that I was ignoring you! I am SO sorry if you ever thought that!! I read both of your posts and I just have to say wow.... You went through a tragic thing thats followed you all the way through now.. You handle it so amazingly, and you should because thats nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. You have a genuine heart with looks to match! lol. Now about your Summer or even Spring Vacation.. Even if its a little one.. what are you going to do? I have NO camera what so ever.. none.. like at all.. Ive been having my eye on this professional Canon camera for two years now. its like over a thousand dollars. But when I get it, I will go stir crazy taking picture of anything and everything making it look so beautiful while taking everything in as I breathe in Gods created art.. He is the most famous, most amazing artist of all time. We are just here taking pictures of it to show people how truly amazing it really is.. Things that we take advantage of every second of our lives.. I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT YOUR JOB HUNN!! Im so proud of you, and I cant wait to see what you can really do and how you put yourself to the test on this job. Im sure you will be the best at this job. Its so exciting!!!

Sarah32 Hmmmm, looks like we all need to start a fund raiser to get us some sweet cameras. I can bake (when Im not zonked on the couch lol), Courtney can wash cars and maybe do a beatnik style poetry reading (maybe Ill join;) , and you seem like you could put together a comedy routine, Peter...yeah, we could do this thing. ;)

Im praying, Peter!!<3 And yes, getting out and distracting yourself from whats on your mind is sometimes the best thing to do. It seemed like you had fun in spite of whats been going on which is very good. :) Praying for your job too, and as always thank you for the prayers!! I appreciate them more than you can imagine.

Sarah32 Thanks for the compliment, Peter.:) Its actually an old "new" pic I put up. With my health issues, I just havent felt like snapping pictures, so recycling pictures works for now. I didnt know Christopher Lloyd wrote episodes for the Golden Girls! Honestly, I didnt know he did ANY writing!! So what, were your thoughts on the DSLR cameras? As far as choosing between movies, TV, or books, I would have to go with the books. I havent had a good book to read in a few days, so I feel like Im going through reading withdrawals lol. That definitely doesnt happen to me with tv or movies. And it sounds like you should have joined our discussion on the forum about our fave movies, shows, etc. Ummm....Lets see.....favorite movie, youre going to laugh, but Little Women has been my favorite since I was nine, but I also like funny movies from back in the day like Heavyweights, I also love Narnia, and I know there are others, but I cant think of them at the time. Books? Again, Little Women lol!! I also love Gone with the Wind and other classics. Im about to start reading Crime and Punishment here soon. Favorite show, OLD episodes of the Office (the newer ones fall pretty flat), Man vs. Wild, and Community. So I guess now its your turn to tell me your favorites.:)

Sarah32 Golden Girls is awesome!!! I dont know if it would make you and Alex feel better, but the main director for the Office was also the main director for Golden Girls. A little less emasculating there.;) As far as the DSLR camera goes, I still havent been able to afford one myself. I have a film SLR...but of course, its just not the same. Ive had the Nikon D90 on my wishlist for years, but recently changed my mind to a Nikon D5000. Its more affordable and has very similar features to the D90. Im pretty partial to Nikons myself, but some people loooove Canons. I would say those are definitely the two most popular brands in the photog. world. I like a sharper image myself that comes with the Nikon lenses. The Canon gives a softer appearance, which some prefer for portrait work and weddings... And the Canons are generally more user friendly. Its just really all comes down to preference. Whats your favorite thing to take pictures of, Peter?

Courtney PETERRR!!! aHaha, looks like we just know a good series of shows when we see it! lol, thats hilarious that we both watch "The Golden Girls" still!!! lol, So we can talk about your stories that you put in parenthesis now if youd like to since you said that we could talk about them later. haha. You shouldnt have gotten made fun of for anything! Its really good that youre so easy to talk to and that you share things willingly because I will do the same with you!! It breaks my heart to know that you were made fun of in any way possible because you should be one of the guys who never gets any crap from anybody! I never really had problems with people through school at all.. Only my exs friends, but that was because they hated me for saying no to them when they went behind his back and asked me out. But oh well. lol. I dont really care. You will DEF. be in my prayers about everything, especially your job which I know means a lot to you! We do have a LOT in common, and YOU SHOULD PICK UP SOME TRIX YOGURT TO EAT! It still tastes amazing. When I told Alex that I found another guy that loves to watch the Golden Girls, he got right on here and replied! HAHA! Ive never known another guy to watch them, but I think its amazing! I really dont see why you guys get weird faces just by watching them. Theyre hilarious!! Right now, Im watching Independence Day. =) But you need to tell me more about your job when you find out!! How many years have you been in college..? Do you know another guy on here named Chris is from Texas thats really good with what youre good at? Thatd be cool if you all could talk about that stuff. I fell asleep yesterday, and then Alex got home, and hes a computer hog, and we only have one, so there was nothing I could do. haha!! Do you travel much or anything? I travel a lot, but I have to wait until my court date gets over and done with and everything is done before I could leave which really sucks because Im a free spirit, and I travel like crazy.. I LOVE NATURE!!!! So those are the places that I go to. Like Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky!! I love going to Kentucky lake for the summers!! My absolute favorite!! We go to the gas station right next to the lake, and we take a swim for hours and just tan!! We started doing that last year.. What do you like to do for fun hunn? And what kind of video games do you play?! =P

Courtney Well what can I possibly start with? You sound amazing! To tell you the truth, its amazing that Im up at this hour. haha, but Im extremely tired! Im sitting here eating Trix Yogurt watching the Golden Girls at 7:44am. Dont judge! lol just kidding. But anyway, you will have to excuse me considering that my ADHD will be controlling me this morning. I hope you can follow along! =) Anyway, its amazing to read about your strong faith in our Father. Usually in these times, people fade away instead of getting closer to Him considering all the hard times theyre going through. I used to be like that, but Ive realized that its so much better WITH Him in these hard times considering He makes them easier.. So much easier as we give all of our worries and struggles to Him. Like for instance, I have court this month on the 28th at 1:30pm to talk about my class A misdemeanor of 2 years unsupervised probation, 100 hours of community service, and 5 days in jail. That doesnt sound like me at all.. ALL of that isnt me.. But truthfully, I messed up big time, and Ive realized this.. Do you know that I was supposed to spend 1 to 7 years in prison..? I didnt kill anybody or anything! lol. But I made a huge mistake, and I was scared to death and so depressed.. I invested in the Lord, and in these amazing people on this site.. Sarah and Christian as you may know helped me tremendously on this case, and I couldnt have done it without them, or anyone else who have prayed for me.. My point in telling you this story is.. well Ive never did ANYTHING bad in my life.. The only thing major I got was a tardy when my locker jammed in middle school.. And that was major for me! lol.. What Im saying is that no matter what situation youre in.. Even ones that breaks your heart in two, prayers and amazing people like you, Sarah, Christian, etc. can make all the difference in the world when it comes to prayers.. They are so powerful, and your friends will NEVER let you go through anything alone.. You are SO right when it comes to investing beautiful, close, completely bonded relationships with those chosen friends in your life, and getting to know everything about them... God works in so many mysterious, yet miraculous ways that in the end.. with everything that we have to invest in with so many rare hearted people on this earth, He works in every single one of them to show you that youre not alone.. He works in so many different ways that in the end, you will come out stronger and better than ever.. Its so amazing to me that after everything thats ever happened to us.. all the trials, the heart break, confusion, and the losses.. we come out smiling in the end stronger and better than ever.. Im still so scared about my court date even though I know what may happen, and its so little compared to what could have happened.. I still need so many prayers to give me strength and the presence of the Lord to be with me.. But in the end, I know in my heart that its going to be okay.. I hope that its the same with you in your situation.. But I know that you are so strong, and you are going to walk tall with your head held high.. You will make an example for everyone to see.. Thats just purely amazing, and you should be so proud! Now about your college, thats AMAZING! I dont know many colleges at all that have missionary majors!! And what are you planning to do after college with all of your skills?? I could never do what youre doing! lol, But I do love Web Designing. Its so cool to see what you guys can really do with that stuff! If you think about it, we havent really had computers for long at all.. Not compared to everything else. Yet, its people like you who makes computer technology go so far in so little time. Oh! And if you dont mind me asking, how older are ya? Im 19, soon to be 20 on August the 15th. I feel so old! haha, Im still such a kid at heart!

Im really glad that youre taking all of this one step at a time and trusting in the Lord to lead you to where youre supposed to be!! It sounds like you have a busy life really, and sometimes thats a really good thing when they are things that you want to accomplish in your life that you feel are neccessary=) I just want you to know that any time you have things on your mind that are just running around and wont stop because youre just so caught up with everything... I know how that is, and I would love to help you as much as I can and get to know you like my dear friend Sarah has! I hope that youre doing okay today, and know that even in the busiest time of your life, its always good to just take a breather, and talk to people that you know will leave you feeling refreshed and cared for! Sarah32 Peter! Still praying for you buddy. Im so glad you made it safe from California. :) Im guessing thats where youre originally from and youre flying back to college?? I think I would rather be staying in Cali!! What an awesome place to spend spring break and some time away from the turmoil thats at college...and just to reflect and have a lil fun. Studying what you were doesnt sound like the MOST fun of spring breaks....But I think thats how spring breaks usually are in college-- a break away from school, but not the work. :-/ I didnt recognize what youre studying- what major are you? I know psych is out, cause I never had to touch anything with that title- thank goodness!! And yes, you are being covered in prayer!!<3<3 This is a super tough time to go through....and I think it is almost tougher to deal with it at college because you cant escape the situation- the person is still there. I still want to say Im really proud of you for standing your ground and doing what you felt needed to be done. You followed the Holy Spirits guiding, which is so, so awesome!! A lesser man would have continued on in the relationship, but you decided to take the high ground, even though the high ground was so much more painful! I just know God is going to honor you with the decision you made. You did good, buddy, even if you feel like were flattened by a mac truck. I pray that each day, youll "inflate" back up from the crush. Praying, praying, praying!!

Courtney I just read your prayer request from a few days ago, and I am so so sorry to hear about that.. I know its so heartbreaking, and its so hard to take the first few steps away.. But day by day, they get easier especially when you have friends like Sarah and Christian to be with you every step of the way.. I am so proud of you for taking these steps, and I promise you my dear that it will get easier.. Hey guys, Im kinda new to the whole post your prayer on a wall type thing, so here it goes. About a month and a half ago I decided to end a relationship with my girlfriend of 2 years. Being one who invests my time, energy, and so many other things into anyone I meet, one could imagine how much I invested in this past relationship. Some days are easier than others, but every day I make it a habit to pray for the Lord to bring joy through this time of sorrow (and minor depression). I have been surrounding myself with strong Christian guys on my floor to both encourage me and get my mind off of thinking about my break up continuously (by the way, it is really cool to attend a Christian university, especially at this time in my life). I know that God is accomplishing His will in my life through this event and time. Please pray that healing will take place in my heart in a proper way, and that Satan will not be able plant depressing thoughts about this past relationship (blame, doubt that God is going to get me through this time in my life, it is my fault I am single, confusion of emotions and thoughts, etc). On a lighter note, I also know that the Lord will bring another wonderful girl into my life when it is His timing and not mine, and I cant wait to meet her, but until that day, I remain fixed on Him who gives me strength and guides my footsteps. Thank you:)

I've been on a Role for the lord lately. I'm so pumped! :)I've been a christian for quite awhile now but just recently became a member for this church that I've attended for quite some time already. Blessing after blessing have come my way. Opportunities that I just started paying attention to, I'm taking full advantage of. I'm no longer afraid to speak what my moral compass [bible] speaks. Until, just the other day I found out that there are a few athiest that attend my school that believe with everything they have that God is a fake. They don't intimidate me like I figured, but I still don't know what I should say.. Any advice? How do I approach someone like that? I'm scared to say the wrong thing that will make them be overly defensive and run the other way.
I have been in these situations as well. I have learned through the few that I have been through that it will definitely be God who opens their hearts and eyes to Him. Even though God can bring them to Him in the blink of an eye, He has obviously put them on your heart. I have also learned how quickly conversations also turn into debates of "who is right." Pray for them as well as an opportunity to approach them with the gospel (if it is His will for you to be the one to share it with them). I have also found that if you go with a friend to share with them (sometimes) also is comforting as well. Will definitely be praying for this situation.
