And he fell away fast and I think it has to do with him staying in the dorms at my school. I can tell something went wrong because I met him at a christian club dinner gathering at school, and I invited him to church. He was excited to come then all of a sudden, one month later, he said he doesnt want to have anything to do with church. He asking for scientific proof. Jordan DeanIll definitely pray for your friend. Also, I can send you tons of websites that have scientific evidence that points to the Bible being true. There is no PROOF of God or evolution being true so PROOF is impossible to provide for anything. And yeah, the pic is just recent and the older one was a few years ago so I thought I needed an update. Ill be changing it though since guns arent the most holy things in the world lol.

RedemptionThanks for the wall post, man. I appreciate it. It is a tough thing to deal with- especially since Ive tried to go the other way on this. Maybe if you knew me personally youd kinda understand where Im coming from. Its probably more or less a chemical imbalance in the brain - I cant really think of anything else. But at what point do you turn from who you are and try to be someone else? I tried that- and I was unhappy. Actually, when I turned from that, I was FURTHER from God. But now that Ive faced who and what I am, I feel closer. Its crazy, I know but yeah. Well- thanks again for the post and if you ever want to talk just let me know. Jordan DeanWhether its a chemical unbalance or just an involuntary decision, God can change it. Nothing is too hard to get over. It is clear in scripture that it is wrong in Gods eyes and the enemy uses many tricks to try and make you stay the way you are. Dont try to change yourself, let God change you.

tylerhey dude i saw your topic about your night terrors and i really dont wanna freak you out but it sounds like the devil theres a guy i listen to his name is brian head welch and he had the same problem your having he would wake up and wouldnt be able to move and his voice sounded very demonic and he could stop it but heres what i would do know matter how bad it gets or scary it gets dont show fear if you show fear satan will keep going you need to command that satan leaves tell him he has no place here command satan in Jesus holy name that he leaves satan fears God and if you show satan that your a man of God and wont back down from him then satan can not have a hold on you keep me posted and please let me know if it gets any better and remember if you dont have full faith in Jesus Christ then satan will keep screwing with you i hope satan leaves you alone keep me posted! Jordan DeanWell, Ive been accepted into Liberty University and Yale but Ill probably be going to Liberty. I want to study criminal justice and law and eventually become a district attorney for LA. Also, I want to be a youth pastor and start up a youth group so teens and teenagers can get closer to God in LA.

I would like someone to come together with me in prayer for my father, Aaron, who is not following God and also for my cousin, Mike, who is causing problems in our family.
I just love when God goes above and beyond what you ask for and answers your pray and throws in a bonus blessing. My family is moving by the end of the month to a beautiful house on the coast where everyone will have their own bedroom. It is an extremely nice neighborhood and the schools there are great. Hey guys, I'm officially leaving Monday for training. I'll be going to the Air Force Special Operations Schoolhouse, Survival School, Ranger School, Army Airborne School, H.A.L.O., Sniper School, Air Assault School, Pathfinder, and Navy SEAL BUDs. It'll take about 2 years of training and then I'll be an active duty special forces soldier. Keep me in your prayers please! But yeah, I see a Christian as a Christian. I grew up in a very diverse environment and my own family is very diverse. I have friends who I have very strong and close relationships with from South Korea, Australia, U.K., Uganda, Mexico, and all over the U.S. Ethnicity doesn't mean anything to me except some people speak a different language and some people have great food! But people are people regardless of where they're from.
What do you do to remember those who serve and have served our country? I usually try to wear my poppy, but this year I kept forgetting to find it. I was disgusted. :/ And then there's the minute or two of silence at 11:00 am which will be right away for me.

I heard a sermon from an awesome pastor once and he said that when TVs first came out, his first thought was "This is how everyone will see Jesus' return".

Just wondering how you guys feel on the topic and how you would respond if someone were to pose this question to you.
Throughout the Old Testament (look especially in Deuteronomy and Joshua) God instructed the warrior men of Israel to kill off all surrounding territories to claim the promised land. This included all men, women, and the one we all struggle with- children. As Christians, how can we advocate protecting the lives of the unborn when God declared mass infanticide in the O.T.? Is there a discrepancy? Why or why not?
What I'm going to say is controversial but this is true: I do not believe in or worship the god that demanded the murder of children. When I say I am a Christian, I am saying I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus never authorized murder, violence or any other disgusting act like "God" did in the OT. If I am to go to hell for not supporting a god that murders innocent children, then I will go to hell with a clean heart rather than go to heaven with a stained one. I disagree with a lot in the OT which is why I really don't follow it. I believe in the creation, I study Moses, David, Joshua and all the other characters but I think we can all agree that the god of the OT and the God of the NT are different.
